Facility

Facility Name

Displayed in reports, handoff summaries, and alert emails.

Your Display Name

Used in the greeting when you sign in (e.g. "Hello, Sarah"). Each person sets their own name on their device.

Total Bed Count

Used on the Bed Board to show empty/available beds.

Bed Board Units

Define units (wings, floors) to organize the Bed Board. Assign a room number range to each unit — residents whose room falls in that range appear in that unit section.

How room ranges work

Set "Room From" and "Room To" for each unit. Example: Unit "2 North" covers rooms 200–249. Residents with a room number in that range automatically appear in that unit section on the Bed Board. Residents not in any range appear under "Unassigned".

Bed Position Types

Define bed position options — shown on resident records and the Bed Board. Default: Door (D), Window (W), Private (P). Add custom positions for your facility.

How to Get PCC API Access

Follow these steps to apply for PointClickCare API access:

1Call your PointClickCare account rep and ask about PCC Connect API access for a third-party integration.
2Ask if API access is included in your contract or requires an add-on fee.
3Submit the PCC Connect Partner Application at pointclickcare.com/partners
4Once approved, you'll receive a Client ID and Client Secret. Paste them above and this app will sync your census automatically every morning.
